Identification of quantitative trait loci for bean paste color in the adzuki bean (<i>Vigna angularis</i>)

本研究は,アズキの品質関連形質として重要なアン色に関わる量的形質遺伝子座の特定を目的とした.そのために,北海道の品種「エリモショウズ」とアン色が紫色で優れる「紫さやか」との交雑に由来する組換え自殖系統150系統を北海道十勝地方の気温の異なる2地点で2カ年の計4環境下で栽培し,アン色と強く関連する煮豆色と種皮色に関与する量的形質遺伝子座の検出を試みた.供試材料の種皮色と煮豆色について,L*C*h表色系を用いて,明度(L*),彩度(C*),色相角(h)を評価した.DNAマーカーには,「紫さやか」と「エリモショウズ」のリシーケンス解析データに基づいて設計したInDelマーカー34種とCAPSマーカー1種,dCAPSマーカー1種を用いた.DNAマーカーの連鎖分析の結果,全長363.6 cMをカバーする7連鎖群から構成される連鎖地図となった.「紫さやか」は,アン色の特徴とされる煮豆の色相角は,「エリモショウズ」より小さいため,うすい紫色を呈し,かつ登熟期間の積算温度への反応性の小さい品種であると示された.種皮色と煮豆色に関わるQTLとして,それぞれ9個と8個が特定され,種皮色のQTLと煮豆色のQTLとのクラスターが3領域で確認された.煮豆色のQTLについて,紫色のアン色に強く影響を及ぼす色相角では,「紫さやか」型対立遺伝子が色相角を下げるqBBH1,qBBH3,qBBH4,色相角を上げるqBBH2が検出された.また,煮豆色の明度と色相角に関わるqBBL1とqBBH4は,登熟期間が高温で少ない日射量となった1環境を除いた3環境下で検出され,一方,qBBH2は,高温で少ない日射量となった環境のみで検出され,環境により作用するQTLが異なることが明らかになった.
